Achnagairn House was proud to hold a magnificent charity fair to raise funds in aid of Children 1^st. A registered Scottish charity, Children 1^st aims to ensure that every child and young person enjoys a happy and healthy childhood. Focused specifically upon confirming that children thrive within their families; the charity values making a positive change in Scotland’s children, young people and their families’ lives. We at Achnagain House also believe in promoting such values and as such, we were delighted to hold the event.

Indeed, the charity fair fast proved to be a resounding success, with 250 people making an appearance on the first evening and 500 on the second day. Guests were treated to coffees and teas as well as a scrumptious lunch served by delicatessen Corner of the Square in Beauly. Everyone loved the occasion and the resulting money which was raised was donated to Children 1^st. We at Achnagairn House could not be prouder to be associated with this outstanding charity and we will certainly be holding more events in the future.

Perfect Manors' exclusively elegant Achnagairn House had the privilege of hosting a group of journalists from a number of prestigious newspapers and magazines in October. Indeed, the event was a sumptuous one, helping to showcase both the serenity of the beautifully scenic Inverness’ countryside as well as the splendour of Achnagairn House and its luxury accommodation five star Perfect lodges.

Treated to an assortment of delights, the guests were indulged with excellent food and drink in the magnificent ballroom. Steeped in a sense of rich tradition and pride - boasting oak panelled walls and vaulted ceilings - the spellbinding ballroom provided the perfect opportunity for the journalists to relax in a setting like no other. Consequently, entertainment was provided in our intimate and beautiful reception room, where an elaborate fireplace and cosy interior facilitated in providing a blissfully enjoyable time for all. With an assortment of cocktails, canapés and fresh local produce from the highlands, our guests were treated to an array of truly mouth-watering delights. Consequently, our guests were treated to an exploration of Loch Ness with a fantastic Jacobite cruise, discovering the scenic beauty of the area. A thrilling time was further enjoyed with Boots N Paddles Archery which took place in Achnagairn Houses’ own elegant grounds before guests enjoyed a fun-filled time with segways.

Suspend it like Beckham - Achnagairn House

Situated to the North of Hyde Park in London, encompassing Zen inspiration and minimalistic art, the Hempel Hotel was a celebrity favourite attracting the likes of the Beckhams and Michael Jackson to name but a few. In March of this year, the iconic boutique hotel was bought by a property developer leaving the contents of the 40 bedrooms and 20 suites to be auctioned off.

Here at Perfect Manors, we were particularly excited to learn that the contents of the Lioness Suite - the Beckham’s favourite - were to appear at the eagerly anticipated auction. And, yes, it gets more exciting! Perfect Manors were the lucky winners of the suite’s contents and we are delighted to announce that the suspended bed, the glass coffee table, the mini bar and the two TVs will feature in one of our  fantastic properties, we are not sure of the exact location just yet, however we expect it to be incorporated into one of our amazing new lodges.

In order to fully preserve the beauty of the Lioness Suite and give our guests the chance to live like the Beckhams, we plan on suspending the 10ft 5in by 8ft 2in bed frame from the ceiling. With the luxurious, five star contents of the Hempel Hotel being transported to one of the Perfect Manors locations, we plan on bringing a little bit of stylish and cosmopolitan London to the Scottish Highlands.

Our accommodation in Inverness is breathtaking, exclusive and unique. At Perfect Manors, we believe that these values are most applicable to our recent purchase.
