We held a super birthday celebration in the sumptuous ballroom at Achnagairn House near Inverness this weekend - but what made this truly different was that the celebration speeches were presented in verse rather than prose -

If you are looking for a 21st birthday party theme, to make it even more quirky, this family decided to combine a husband's 50th birthday celebration, his wife's 50th birthday celebration and their daughter's 21st birthday party. It all seemed rather fitting because the historic owner of Achnagairn House back in 1912, built the stunning ballroom to host his daughter's 21st birthday ball!

Mixing the different generations was easy because Achnagairn House (brought to you by Perfect Manors) we not only offers luxury accommodation in our Downton Abbey style manor but also really proud of our new luxury 5 star self-catering lodges.
